All about town

Instead of sightseeing and exploring the nooks and crannies of the villages, I switched gears and ventured into engaging locals. It started with a quick invite to my Airbnb host to join me for a meal. She accepted which lead to all sort of fun. She introduced me to a local restaurant owner as well as a few friends. We met up the next day for a local herb festival. I hopped on an educational tour about the local herbs growing around town. She translated for me as I had technical difficulties with my translation app. (If you know me, you know the struggle.)

Today I’m heading to the Palm Sunday service at the local church. I’ll let you know how it goes.
