MONTEROSSO

As my time in Italy winds down, I spent the weekend hitting a few last stops. Monterosso, the largest of the 5 villages didn’t disappoint. Here are a few views including the ferry ride back to Riomaggiore.

This weekend marked the start of the season and the crowds of tourists were noticeably present. But it also meant the start of the ferry service. Seeing the villages for the water offers another perspective, equally as stunning.

I grabbed one last lemon gelato and a “cone of calamari,” a popular to-go food available with different types of seafood.
