Basel, Switzerland

We disembarked the cruise in Basel. I wasn’t particularly excited about this location because it felt like a one-night transition with luggage and long day of travel to Italy in the coming day. But, I managed to stay in the present and had a delightful day in Basel. It might have been one of my favorite stops (although it was noticeably more expensive than our other stops.) The city market in the center of Old Town was a hub of activity, food, and colorful sights.
